Karver KFR8.0 Furler V3 Racing Titan.

The KFR8.0Ti RACING (Titanium version) is a furler that can withstand a workload of 8 T. It is intended for sailboats from 55 to 65 feet. The KFR8.0Ti is a Karver furler of 3rd generation. It is fitted as standard with a carbon / Kevlar® continuous line wheel, a carbon housing, a 3: 1 friction sheave fitted with a captive fast pin and a swivel also protected by our K Krok impact protection. Internal structure, forks and swivel are made of titanium. The automatic drum locking system is not available right now on the KFR8.0 carbon drum. There are many options available to make it unique and perfectly suited to your needs including the EcoConcept wheel in linen fibers. The KFR8.0Ti RACING is delivered with a drum and its swivel. It allows furling in complete safety from the cockpit complementary so-called “flying” sails such as a gennaker, a code 0, a staysail, etc … It is also possible to furl an asymmetric spinnaker by equipping it with our KTS adapter. This recent (end of 2021) titanium version meets the needs of racing teams for ever more resistance, reliability and lightness. After several months of racing, the titanium shows no signs of use unlike the aluminum parts. The KFR8Ti furler is definitely a weapon of choice for the most extreme sailboats.
