Selden Furlex 30S, jib furling system for ø4 mm headstays, Max LP 2500 mm
The smallest furlers in the Furlex family are used as standard equipment on numerous dinghies, small catamarans and keelboats. They feature stainless ball bearings for long life, composite components for low weight and clever designs to reduce friction. The sail is furled around a headstay wire connecting the drum and the top swivel. The sail is connected to the tack attachment of the drum and a halyard swivel that slides up the wire when hoisting the sail.
• All structural parts are stainless steel
• Glass fibre reinforced polyamide composite for drum and cover.
• Double stainless ball bearings in the drum distribute the radial load evenly and reduces friction.
• The line exit fairlead of the cover can be orientated in several positions to achieve the correct angle for the furling line.
• An optional Top Swivel Guide separates the jib from the forestay to prevent the forestay from being twisted with the jib luff.
• The Top Swivel is tapered to fit in narrow forestay angles and comes with low friction stainless ball bearings to prevent the halyard from twisting.
The kit includes top swivel, halyard swivel, drum, tack fitting and furling line.
