This headboard car assembly consists of two IWS 45 cars and a composite headboard toggle with a Drop-nose pin for easy connection with the headboard of the sail. 

The IWS car simplifies hoisting, reefing and dousing and is used for Seldén’s newest C-sections. The side load created by the full-batten is taken up by the wheels as the slider tilts to the side and a buffer bearing centers the slider in the groove. The mast groove and the car makes for a perfect match handling loads from all direction without any extra hardware fitted to the mast.
